HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY STATEMENT
It is Bavarian policy to meet all statutory requirements relating to health and safety and to apply the appropriate standards to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all Bavarian employees, visitors, and members of the public who are, or may be, affected by its activities.
The management of Health and Safety is an integral part of good management at all levels of Bavarian. This includes the provision of:
• Safe and healthy working conditions.
• Arrangements for the operation, design and maintenance of safe systems of work.
• Properly maintained and guarded machinery.
• Information, instruction, training, and supervision appropriate to Bavarian activities.
• Arrangements for consultation with employees on relevant committees dealing with health and safety matters.
Those supervising work of any kind are responsible for ensuring that all activities under their direction do not jeopardize Bavarian’s compliance with the law.
It is incumbent on all employees to recognize their own individual responsibility to be aware of, and to comply with, all health and safety requirements relevant to their activities.
